How to Optimize an Image to Increase the Ranking of a Website...
Description of ALT Tag, Title Tag and File Name

For Example: If your main keyword is : How to harvest tomatoes, keyword 2: harvesting tomatoes and you select the following picture:

harvesting tomatoes, how to harvest tomatoes

This is what the search engine optimized code of your image would look like:

<p align="center"><img border="0" src="harvestingtomatoes.gif" width="172" height="191" alt="harvesting tomatoes, how to harvest tomatoes" title="How to Harvest Tomatoes"></p>

In the above example your file name includes your keyword and  is harvestingtomatoes.gif

the alt tag alt="harvesting tomatoes, how to harvest tomatoes" includes both the keywords, this is the text that would show up if the image does not load, and also the search engines index these keywords.

The title is "How to Harvest Tomatoes", these words appear if someone rolls over the picture and are also readable by the search engines. Just try rolling over the above picture of the tomato and you will see how the title appears.

IF you want to see how the HTML coding would actually appear, here is an image of the actual HTML code highlighted with the Red Box used to optimize the harvestingtomatoes.gif image:
